Kawasaki is a renowned Japanese motorcycle manufacturer. The company has recently unveiled patent drawings for its Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z e-1 Hybrid motorcycles in India. These patent filings suggest that Kawasaki might be considering introducing these eco-friendly models to the Indian market.The Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z e-1 Hybrid cater to a niche audience interested in environmentally-conscious transportation options. By launching these hybrid bikes via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route, Kawasaki aims to target customers willing to invest in eco-friendly yet high-performance motorcycles.However, it's unclear if Kawasaki plans to release these hybrids in India or if they're just securing the patents. The patents hint that Kawasaki might be considering bringing these hybrid bikes to India.About Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is likely to hit the Indian market, sharing its 451cc platform with the Ninja 500 and Eliminator. It will be equipped with a parallel twin-cylinder DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine that delivers 44.7 bhp of power and 42.6 Nm of torque. Additionally, the Ninja 7 Hybrid features a 9 kW electric motor and 48-volt battery, increasing its power to around 60 bhp. The Ninja 7 Hybrid bike is equipped with more advanced shift paddles integrated into the left-side switchgear and a 6-speed manual gearbox. This combination of traditional powertrain and electric assistance makes it an attractive option. Moreover, this Hybrid bike offers three riding modes, including EV, Eco Hybrid, and Sport Hybrid. It features a full-colour TFT screen that provides riders with clear and intuitive information while riding. This bike weighs 227 kg and is expected to cost around 10.34 Lakh in India. About Kawasaki Z E-1 BikeKawasaki has also patented the Z E-1 electric motorcycle in India. It features two removable 1.5 kWh batteries with a total capacity of 3 kWh. Despite its fully electric setup, the Z E-1 delivers a peak power of 9 kW, slightly less than competitors like the Ola S1 Pro. Moreover, it has a range of 72 km and a top speed of around 80 kmph. The Z e-1 hybrid variant features a single pod headlight, small tank extensions, and a split seat powered by two 1.5 kWh batteries linked to a 9 kW motor. It comes with LED illumination, two ride modes, eco-boost, walk mode, ABS, TFT display, smartphone connectivity, and Ergo Fit features.
