On 19 December, 2022, Monday, Ducati India announced a hike in price on its entire range of motorcycles to be effective on ex-showroom prices from 1 January 2023 in the statement released to the public. Adding to the statement, they explained how the company has been absorbing costs. But now will need to pass on the increase in their pricing due to substantial increment in costs regarding raw material, logistics and production. The revised and new prices will apply to every authorised Ducati bikes and its variants irrespective of dealerships across Mumbai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.Ducati details further that the company remains committed to India and is planning to launch all the bikes unveiled globally in the domestic market. Along with Ducati price hike, several other brands have also announced an increase in their pricing across their range due to rising input costs. The Italian luxury manufacturer, however, is yet to reveal the number regarding the hike across its complete range. Recently. Ducati India launched - the Desert X adventure motorcycle in the Indian 2-wheeler market with starting price of Rs 17.91 lakh (ex-showroom). And the company has already started taking bookings for their new addition to its portfolio, whose deliveries will begin early next year (2023).
