    BMW in North America has recalled the BMW R 1250 RT and BMW K 1600 GT & GTL bikes due to a safety concern with the front suspension strut. BMW Motorrad has initiated the recall in the US to address the issue and ensure rider safety. This issue might impact the bike's stability on roads and at higher speeds.BMW has identified the group of bikes affected by this problem and has taken steps to implement a voluntary safety recall. Owners will be notified through letters by April 22 2024, advising them to visit dealerships for inspections and necessary repairs. While BMW has not received any reports of accidents or injuries resulting from this issue. Still, the brand is taking measures to address it and ensure rider safety.Owners are advised to stay alert for recall notifications and promptly reach out to their BMW dealership for evaluations and corrective measures.
