BMW Motorrad has launched the M 1000 XR in India for Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model is only available in the M Competition variant, which includes many carbon fibre parts like wheels and side panels. Moreover, the BMW M 1000 XR combines features from the S 1000 XR and S 1000 RR with improved performance, better ergonomics, and more features for 2024. It is the third M model after the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R. Sold as a completely built unit, it is claimed to be the most powerful crossover motorcycle. It features a stronger engine, advanced electronics, lightweight parts, and a distinctive M livery.Furthermore, the President of BMW Group India, Mr Vikram Pawah, said, “The all-new BMW M 1000 XR is an M bike through and through. It embodies everything that the most powerful letter in the world stands for: leadership, supremacy and playful, effortless dominance. This bike successfully completes the equation for an incomparable riding experience of M-like performance and XR-like long-distance capability. The all-new M XR maximizes everything - your riding experience, your endurance and, whenever you want, your adrenaline.”Also, BMW has opened bookings for the M 1000 XR at all Motorrad dealerships in the country starting today.BMW M 1000 XR: Design  The newly launched BMW M 1000 XR bike features a bold and dynamic design. It has a six-speed gearbox, with adjusted gear ratios and a larger 47-teeth sprocket for quicker acceleration.
