KTM 1290 Super Adventure S 2023 Revealed Globally Gets Redesigned Styling

KTM has unveiled the 2023 version of its 1290 Super Adventure S. Starting in January 2023, the new 1290 Super Adventure S will be available for sale worldwide.
The new 1290 Super Adventure S model of KTM has been introduced worldwide by the Austrian Automotive brand. According to the manufacturer of the bike, the redesigned rider-oriented ergonomics of the updated ADV ensure a comfortable ride over long distances.

In terms of changes, the 2023 1290 Super Adventure S is given the choice of two new colour options - orange with black and orange with grey. The updated 1290 Super Adventure S retains the previous model's beefy silhouette and features an LED headlight with integrated DRLs, a wide handlebar, a tilted fuel tank, a raised exhaust, a raised windshield, split seats, a tapered tail and a sleek LED taillight.

The 2023 model of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S retains the V-Twin LC8 engine, which can generate maximum power and 158 bhp and torque of 138 Nm, respectively. Powered by a 6-speed PASC slipper clutch transmission. The bike has multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, radar-based adaptive cruise control and front and rear disc brakes for rider safety. Suspension is handled by a 48mm WP SAT upside-down fork up front and a WP SAT mono-shock in the rear. The manufacturer also offers additional PowerParts for the 1290 Super Adventure S.

This bike features a 7-inch TFT screen with enhanced navigation software. The rider can download the KTMConnect app, which is used in conjunction with the Turn by Turn navigation feature. The handlebar-mounted switchgear can be used to control this TFT screen.

The bike manufacturer has yet to reveal pricing and availability information for the 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. The ADV is expected to cost more than the current model, which is priced at $19,499 (about 16.13 lakh) in the US. The manufacturer's plan to introduce the 1290 Super Adventure S in India seems unlikely so far.
