BREAKING: Aprilia Typhoon 125 scooter launch India by March 2023

To commemorate its 25 years in India, Piaggio has announced a number of significant announcements, ranging from product enhancements to new services. The Aprilia Typhoon, which will have a 125 cc engine, could debut as early as March of this year. Even though the company sells the Aprilia Typhoon 125 abroad, the India-specific model is anticipated to have improvements in terms of appearance, functionality, and hardware. The new scooter will also adhere to the new standards by being OBD 2 compatible.

The Aprilia Typhoon 125 will have an LED headlamp, a computerised console, combi braking, and more. The updated i-get Euro5 engine with OBD 2 compliance will also be included with the vehicle. In reality, Piaggio will upgrade every scooter in its line-up to an i-get Euro5 engine that complies with OBD 2 standards before the April 1 deadline. Better acceleration, lower emissions, and other performance enhancements are anticipated with the upgraded motor.

We anticipate that the upgraded Aprilia SR 125 will cost slightly more than the existing model, which is currently priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the price of the incoming Typhoon 125 to be less than Rs. 1.10 lakh when it is released.

This year, the Aprilia brand will expand into India's entry-performance motorbike market in addition to scooters. The new motorcycle, which is anticipated to be called the RS440 and compete in the segment against the BMW G 310 RR, KTM RC 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 300, has already been confirmed by Piaggio.
