BMW R 1300 GS Launched in India: Priced At Rs. 20.95 Lakh

BMW Motorrad has launched its new R 1300 GS adventure motorcycle in India. It is imported as a completely built-up unit and comes in three variants: Style Triple Black, Style GS Trophy, and 719 Tramuntana. BMW R 1300 GS price is Rs. 20.95 Lakh. This adventure bike competes with models like the Ducati Multistrada V4, Harley Davidson Pan America 1250, and Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro. 
 

The R 1300 GS features a larger engine and new updates compared to its predecessor, the R 1250 GS. The available colour options include Light White, GS Trophy, Option GS Tramuntana, and Triple Black. The core design and engine remain consistent across all variants. First unveiled in September 2023, the R 1300 GS offers advanced features and aims to continue the success of the R 1250 GS in India.  
 

BMW R 1300 GS Engine Performance 

BMW R 1300 GS has a powerful 1300cc air/liquid-cooled 2-cylinder 4-stroke engine that produces 149 Nm of torque. The bike features a bi-directional quick shifter and can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds. Moreover, it has a top speed of 225 kmph. Apart from this, the engine of this BMW adventure motorcycle is very efficient. It offers a mileage of 21 kmpl and has a fuel tank capacity of 19 litres.

BMW R 1300 GS has a new and sleek design. It has a redesigned front and a new LED headlamp with X-shaped DRLs. It looks slimmer than the R 1250 GS and has a smaller fuel tank. The bike has a new steel frame for increased stiffness and a lighter, shorter die-cast aluminium subframe. It is 12 kg lighter than the R 1250 GS. This BMW motorcycle has 310mm disc brakes on both ends.  
 

Furthermore, it features adaptive cruise control and an improved Dynamic ESA system with ride height adjustment. This new BMW adventure motorcycle has a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity and keyless ignition. It also has multiple riding modes: Rain, Road, Eco, Enduro, Dynamic, Dynamic Pro, and Enduro Pro. 
 

It also has matrix LED headlights with a cornering function, an electrically adjustable windshield, heated grips, a keyless ride, and a storage compartment. The top-spec Option 719 variant adds features like a milled expansion tank lid, adaptive cruise control, and adjustable suspension.
