BMW Motorrad was recently launched in the Indian market as a Completly Built Unit. The prebookings of the bike have already started, and deliveries will begin in November 2023. It is an exciting offering from BMW for bike enthusiasts waiting for these premium bikes.
The BMW M 1000 RR powers a 999cc, four-cylinder, water-oil-cooled engine with BMW's ShiftCam technology. The engine churns out 210 bhp output power at 14500 rpm and a peak torque output of 113Nm at 11,000 rpm. The 6-speed unit gearbox comes with a slip-and-assist clutch.
BMW's M Competitive Package is designed to enhance the performance and aesthetics of their motorcycles. The package includes several notable features and additions, such as M Endurance Chain, M GPS-Laptrigger and a Passenger Kit. The M Billet Pack adds a touch of exclusivity and style to the motorcycle. It includes various billet machined parts, such as levers, footrests, and engine covers.
In addition to the M Competitive Package, BMW also offers the Carbon Pack as an optional upgrade. The Carbon Pack includes various carbon fibre parts, including the rear fender, aero wheel cover, airbox cover, tank cover, chain guard, sprocket cover, and seat cover.
The BMW M 1000 RR boasts a wide range of advanced features and technologies. Dynamic Traction Control helps optimise traction by monitoring wheel spin and adjusting power delivery to the rear wheel.
ABS Pro is an advanced anti-lock braking system that offers enhanced safety by preventing wheel lock-up. The Dynamic Brake Light, Colored TFT Screen and Heated are also present in the motorcycle. The M 1000 RR features all-LED lighting, and the inclusion of a USB port allows riders to charge their mobile devices conveniently.
The M 1000 RR offers different riding modes, Cruise Control, Drop Sensor, Onboard Computer and Adjustable Lever. For Control requirements, the bike has a Dynamic Engine Brake Control feature, Hill Start Assist, Launch Control Slide Control and Wheelie Control.
Suspension Duties are performed by 45mm up-side down forks in the front and rear monoshock. Both are adjustable for compression and rebound. The swingarm is made of aluminium, and BMW Motorrad uses carbon wheels that measure 17 inches. The front tyre measures 120/70 while the rear one uses 200/55. The 320 mm twin discs perform braking Duties in the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear.
The BMW M 1000 RR suspension setup comprises 45mm upside-down forks at the front and a rear monoshock. The front forks and the rear monoshock are adjustable for compression and rebound.The swingarm of the M 1000 RR is constructed from lightweight and durable aluminium.
The M1000 RR are available in two variants that are standard and Competition. The standard variants are available at an Ex-Showroon Price of Rs. 49 Lakhs, and the Competition variant at Rs. 55 Lakhs.
