The much-awaited Bajaj CNG bike will be unveiled on July 5. As the world’s first CNG motorcycle, it will be called the Bajaj Bruzer and will be launched in two variants.

Many of the Bajaj CNG bikes have been spotted during testing, with several key details highlighted in the images. The design deftly balances form and function, as seen in the shape of the fuel tank, stretched seats and overall compact body.

The blueprint of the Bajaj CNG bike reveals its unique chassis design. Bajaj has optimised the space by placing a CNG tank along the length of the bike and using a ‘sloping’ engine layout. Additionally, a small fuel tank has been added to provide additional range and act as a backup in case the CNG supply runs out.

Engine specifications are yet to be announced, but it is expected to have a 125cc commuter engine mated to a five-speed gearbox.

Bajaj is expected to launch the CNG bike in two variants: one for urban areas and a more affordable one for rural India. The rural variant features a sump guard, knuckle guard, and handlebar brace that can cope with rough terrain or none.

Bajaj is likely to announce the price of the CNG bike at the launch event. It is expected to cost around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
