A new special edition of the Apache RTR 160 4V, priced at 1,30,090, has been released by TVS Motors (ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, the Special edition Apache receives both mechanical and aesthetic improvements, as well as some new functions. The brand-new limited-edition Apache RTR 160 4V will be offered for sale in two new colours: Pearl White and Matte Black Special Edition.
Speaking of exterior modifications, the bike now has alloy wheels with a black and red finish. The seat has the same colour finish as the chair. Additionally, the special edition Apache RTR 160 4V comes equipped with segment-first adjustable brake and clutch levers.
The sporting bike receives a new exhaust as far as technical improvements are concerned. It is referred to as a "Bullpup Exhaust" by TVS and is meant to sound better. Interestingly, the bike's weight will decrease by 1 kg as a result.
The identical engine is included with the limited-edition Apache RTR 160 4V. It had an oil-cooled SOHC engine of 159.7 cc and fuel injection. The Apache has a five-speed transmission and produces 17.30 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.73 Nm at 7,250 rpm.
The Apache RTR 160 4V special edition has three riding settings: Urban, Rain, and Sport. The bike's top speed is restricted to 103 kmph in the Urban and Rain modes, but it can reach 114 kmph in Sport mode. It's interesting to note that the limited edition bike also includes a SmartXonnect for Bluetooth communication. In addition to the typical information, its instrument cluster may also display a gear shift indicator, and the LED headlight has been modified with a new LED daytime running lamp.
Speaking of stopping power, the 270 mm front and 1200 mm rear petal discs on the special edition Apache provide it. The front telescopic forks and the rear mono-shock of the bike support the double cradle frame.
