Auto Expo 2023: Cake Mobility Revealed Their 3 Upcoming Products

Cake Mobility, a Swedish bicycle manufacturer renowned for its stylish, high-end electric models, is getting ready to launch in India. In reality, the company initially intended to establish a manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh.

At the present Auto Expo 2023, it unveiled three of its products: the Makka Flex: Work (B2B electric scooter), the Osa Plus: Work (B2B electric scooter), and the Kalk: Work (B2C electric dirt bike). While only weighing 82kg, the Makka Flex: Work's 3.3kW output powers it to a top speed of 45kmph and a stated range of 100km. On the other hand, the Osa Plus: Work (the electric scooter with the top box) produces a reliable 10kW, allowing for a top speed of about 90kmph.

But the Cake Kalk: Work, an elegant-looking electric dirt bike that appears ready to eat any roads you throw at it, was by far what attracted everyone's eye. It has an impressive 11kW output, a top speed of more than 90kmph, and only weighs 83kg. In reality, Ohlins helped develop the suspension, which has more than 200mm of travel on either end. It even has a huge 300mm ground clearance but at the cost of a 926mm seat height, that makes you dizzy.

Wait until you hear that they all receive features like TFT consoles, variable regenerative braking, riding modes, and much more if you thought that was remarkable!

Of course, there is a cost associated with all of this. While the Osa Plus: Work and Kalk: Work retail at USD 11,970 (about 9.74 lakhs) and USD 13,860 (around 11.3 lakhs), respectively, the Makka Flex: Work costs USD 5,680 (roughly Rs 4.62 lakh). The B2B electric scooter products for India are expected to start at a goal price of Rs 2.5 lakh, while the B2C dirt bike is anticipated to start at a target price of Rs 3.5 lakh, according to Cake executives. Another worry is that setting up the plant and putting the complete manufacturing process in place will take Cake at least a year.

All things considered, even if the goods are priced on the higher end, they will all include capabilities that none of their rivals offers and will undoubtedly appeal to a particular specialised market segment. We aficionados can't wait to get our hands on them, though!
