CalendarPublished on September 4, 2024 by BikeJunction
Triumph has hinted at the upcoming Speed Twin 1200 RS, which may include improvements to its suspension and brake system compared to the standard model. Highlights:- New Speed Twin 1200 RS teased by Triumph.- Engine may see a slight power increase.- Sportier graphics and new colour schemes.- Upgraded Ohlins suspension, replacing Marzocchi forks.- Brembo callipers enhance braking performance. Triumph has teased the upcoming Speed Twin 1200 RS, indicating that the launch in India is imminent. This new model will offer an update over the current Speed Twin 1200, which is available in India for ₹11.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Expected Updates for the New Speed Twin 1200 RSThe teaser for the upcoming Speed Twin 1200 RS reveals little. Still, based on Triumph's previous RS models, we can expect significant updates, including slight increases in horsepower and improved suspension components, as well as feature sportier graphics. The new Speed Twin 1200 RS will retain its 1200cc twin-cylinder engine but could see a slight increase in power from the current 99bhp. The torque will still be at 112Nm, and the engine will still be mated to a 6-speed transmission. Another possible update is the suspension; on RS models, Marzocchi forks, the RS model could get fully adjustable Ohlins units for the front and rear. The brakes also see an upgrade in the form of Brembo callipers. The new Speed Twin 1200 RS will use the same steel cradle chassis as the standard Speed Twin. However, it should be slightly lighter than the current model’s 216kg kerb weight. Before you go, have a look at the Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S: Review After First Ride.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb  Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta  Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
