Norton's Exciting Plans for 6 New Motorcycles in the Next 3 Years
Norton's Exciting Plans for 6 New Motorcycles in the Next 3 Years
CalendarPublished on July 16, 2024 by BikeJunction
In 2020, TVS acquired Norton Motorcycles and has been actively trying to rejuvenate the iconic British brand ever since. TVS acquired Norton Motorcycle for 16 million and subsequently invested a total of 113 million in the business. The results of this huge investment will be visible from next year. Highlights:First new Norton launch by 2025Expected to be more affordable than the current line-up Norton's Launch UpdatesIn a recent conversation with Sudarshan Venu, managing director of TVS Motor Company, we found exciting developments ahead for Norton in the coming years. At the same time, Norton has continued to sell enhanced versions of its existing products since the acquisition of TVS. Furthermore, we are now going to see the introduction of brand new products developed under TVS ownership.Norton intends to introduce six brand-new motorcycles in the next three years. The first launch is planned for 2025 and will go on sale in India shortly after its global launch. It is important to note that this upcoming model will not be based on the 650cc Atlas or Nomad models announced in early 2018. TVS Motor Company Managing Director Sudarshan Venu confirmed that the upcoming Norton motorcycle will embody the brand ethos of ‘design, dynamism, and detail’ and that Norton will continue its position as a premium brand. But it's reasonable to expect that Norton's current lineup shows reasonable current value relative to the upcoming future. Families of existing 961 and V4 motorcycles are far more expensive than most mainstream manufacturers, and as a result, fewer sales have occurred. TVS inherited these models before the acquisition of Norton, presenting significant technical challenges. The company has made concerted efforts to resolve these issues and has also initiated the address of the concerns of existing customers. However, it is not legally obliged to do so. The upcoming range of motorcycles is expected to offer affordable pricing compared to the current system and maintain the premium position that TVS has aimed for Norton. These new motorcycles represent Norton’s first brand new products since the acquisition by TVS, which significantly expanded the Norton brand. Before you go, don’t forget to visit the Upcoming Royal Enfield 250cc Motorcycle in DevelopmentFollow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
