Vespa's new Dual scooter range mainly focuses on targeting Gen Z riders in the Indian market. Vespa has introduced 125cc and 150cc variants in their Dual scooter range, complying with the BS6 P2 and RDE norms. These norms ensure that the scooters meet the emission standards the government sets.
The company emphasizes visual appeal and colours that resonate with the Gen Z demographic, allowing riders to express themselves with flair and enthusiasm. This approach reflects Vespa's strategy to target a specific segment of riders who value style and individuality.
Vespa Dual range includes both the 125cc and 150cc engines Options Available. The 125 cc variant generates 9.65 bhp power at 7400 rpm and a torque of 11.26 Nm at 5600 rpm. On the other hand, the 150 cc variant produces 10.64 bhp of power at 7400 rpm and 11.26 Nm of torque at 5300 rpm. The engine of both variants is BS6 P2 and RDE complaints, along with the feature of OBD-II diagnostics.
The Vespa Dual range of scooters comes in four different colour schemes, with two options for VXL and SXL variants each. The VXL variant offers three colour schemes: Pearl White and Azuro Provenza, Pearl White and Beige, and Pearl White and Matte Black. It is available at Rs. 1.32 Lakh for 125 cc and 1.46 Lakh for 150 cc Ex-Showroom price.
However, The SXL variant offers a single colour scheme of Pearl White and Matt Red, and it is available at an Ex-Showroom price of Rs. 1.37 lakh for the 125cc variant and Rs. 1.49 lakh for the 150cc variant. The scooter features a LED Headlight, twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear and a one-sided front suspension. They are also equipped with a front disc brake; 125cc variants have CBS (Combined Braking System), while the 150cc variants feature single-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The 150cc variants have an 11-inch front wheel and a 10-inch rear wheel. They are fitted with 110/70-11 front and 120/70-10 rear tyres, providing good traction and stability on various road surfaces. The 125cc variants feature 90/100-10 tyres with 10-inch front and rear wheels.
