Hero MotoCorp is working hard to expand its electric vehicle brand- Vida, in the Indian market. The firm recently announced that it would be entering Ahmedabad very soon. Currently, Vida electric scooters are available in Nashik, Pune, Nagpur & Chennai.
However, the brand has yet to confirm the launch date and price details. Vida V1 is currently available in 3 cities in India - Delhi, Bangalore and Delhi and is priced at Rs 1.45 Lakhs ( ex-showroom in Bangalore).
Vida V1 e-scooter is available in 2 variants - V1 Pro & V1 Plus. The Pro model carries a higher price tag as compared to the Plus model. In addition, Pro boasts better acceleration, more colour options and a longer range per charge. The Pro’s acceleration time is 3.2 seconds, while the Plus’ acceleration time is 3.4 seconds. Furthermore, the Pro comes with a 3.94kWh, delivering a longer range than the Plus, which comes with a 3.44kWh unit. However, both scooters claim the same top speed of 80 kmph with 4 riding modes - Eco, Ride, Sport & user-customisable.
The Hero Vida V1 e-scooters give tough competition to its rivals- TVS iQube & Bajaj Chetak that are ruling the Indian electric 2-wheeler market.
