The scooter could be named Creon and will likely launch on August 23, 2023.
According to an official invite from TVS, a new two-wheeler is set to launch on August 23. Although details are limited, some indications suggest the Creon electric scooter may be the latest addition to the company's lineup.
The official invitation included the word "electric-fying," indicating that the Hosur-based company intends to broaden its electric vehicle offerings. Additionally, the image displays four vertically aligned square lights that resemble the headlamp design of the previously unveiled Creon concept. These are the only indications of a potential launch of a new electric scooter.
TVS currently offers only one e-scooter for sale, which is iQube. It is the second-best selling electric scooter in India, after the Ola S1. However, TVS has plans to expand its EV selection in the country and even has global aspirations with the launch of the Creon Electric. Although details are scarce, it is evident that the Creon will be a powerful and feature-packed maxi scooter.
The company looks forward to releasing the new TVS electric scooter, which can advance its EV goals in the country. Moreover, the iQube model is a great option for families, and there is still room for a high-performing e-scooter. TVS may aim to compete with the Ather 450X using this new offering. The e-scooter could also be exported to Europe.
