TVS Motor Company is all set to make its debut in the European market in 2024, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion journey. This strategic move was made after a deal with one of the largest vehicle distributors in Europe. In addition, the brand also made a deal with BMW to manufacture 310cc models & CE-02 electric scooters for India as well as international markets.
While the precise details of the deal & the specific markets TVS will enter are not disclosed yet. However, France is expected to be the launchpad for the company's European debut. To be more specific, TVS intends to sell both electric & combustion models. The TVS Jupiter 125, Ntorq, Raider 125, iQube S, TVS X, Ronin alongside its flagship Apache RR 310 & Apache RTR 310 are among the top models. Emil Frey, the distributor stated, “we will take charge of the distribution of TVS products in selected countries, utilising their sales, marketing and service networks”.
The products sold in European markets are anticipated to be similar to the units sold in India, with minor modifications as per the European norms. Nonetheless, all exports will be managed from TVS' manufacturing units in India. This strategic move in Europe marks a bold step for TVS Motor Company, as it intends to expand its presence in the global markets.
