TVS has launched the iQube ST, its most powerful electric scooter, available in two variants with different battery capacities, ranges, and prices. We've compared it with the Ather Rizta Z to see which budget-friendly scooter stands out. The TVS iQube ST is priced at Rs. 1.39 lakh, while the Ather Rizta Z costs Rs. 1.13 lakh in India. Both scooters offer impressive features, performance, and hardware.

TVS iQube ST and Ather Rizta Z are two powerful electric scooters. The TVS iQube ST has a 3.4 kWh battery that delivers 4.4 kW of power and 140 Nm of torque. It offers a range of 100 km on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 78 kmph. The battery takes 4 to 4.5 hours to fully charge.
On the other hand, the Ather Rizta Z has a 2.9 kWh battery that delivers impressive power and 22 Nm of torque. It has a longer range of 123 km per charge and a higher top speed of 80 kmph. However, the battery takes longer to charge, about 6 to 8 hours.
Both electric scooters have a simple, mature and family-friendly design. The TVS iQube ST features boxy bodywork with LED headlights on the apron and LED DRL integrated on the handlebars. Its simplicity makes it appealing to many. The iQube ST is available in 11 colors, including Titanium Grey, Pearl White and Walnut Brown.
Similarly, the Ather Rizta Z has a family-friendly layout without clutter. It comes in 7 colors, namely Pangong Blue, Cardamom Green and Alfonso Yellow. The two scooters have put practicality and ease of use at the forefront of their design.
TVS iQube ST and Ather Rizta Z are packed with features, but the Ather Rizta Z offers more. The TVS iQube ST includes a seven-inch TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS notifications, document storage, music control, social media notifications, four display themes, and over-the-air updates.
Meanwhile, its rival Rizta Z has Smart, Eco, and Zip modes with traction control, mobile charging, auto hold, and reverse mode. Its fully digital console connects to smartphones for Google Maps, live traffic data, auto-replies to calls, and WhatsApp previews. However, these advanced features are available only with the Pro Pack, which costs an extra Rs. 20,000.
Both scooters have 12-inch alloy wheels and telescopic forks for the front suspension. The TVS iQube ST uses hydraulic twin-tube shock absorbers at the rear, while the Ather Rizta Z has monoshock absorbers.
Furthermore, TVS iQube ST has a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a rear 130 mm drum brake. The Ather Rizta Z comes with a CBS (Combined Braking System), a 200 mm disc brake at the front, and a rear 130 mm drum brake.
