TVS is working on its cheapest iQube Electric Scooter to provide its customers with affordable options. It’s likely to feature a smaller battery pack than the e-scooter, which could be at least Rs. 10,000 cheaper. In fact, this TVS iQube e-scooter is the cheapest electric scooter after the Ola S1 Pro.
The company further plans to introduce a more affordable version of the iQube electric scooter after the decrease in FAME 2 incentives. The current version of the iQube comes with a 3.04 kWh battery, a TFT display, and is priced around Rs. 1.35 lakh (Ex-showroom).
The new variant of the iQube will have a smaller battery pack and potentially fewer features. This henceforth will result in a lower price point. Consequently, its reduced pricing will make the scooter economically viable for different customers.
The affordable TVS iQube e-scooter could make its way to the market within a few months, for which the price could be around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000. Also, it goes without saying that its pricing is certainly less as compared to the current model. However, the iQube ST model, which will come with a bigger battery pack and additional features, may not get launched due to a reduction in FAME 2 incentives.
