Renowned brand TVS Motor has released the teaser of Apache RTR 310 on social media. The teaser video indicates that the Apache RTR 310 will be unveiled on 6 September. Nevertheless, pre-orders for the bike have already started on the company's website for Rs 3100.
The teaser shows the bike in shadow from different angles, followed by action stunt scenes. The teaser also reveals a few features & the bike's personality. Like the previous models in the RTR family, the Apache RTR 310 will have bare styling with an exposed look of the mechanicals & chassis. However, Apache 310 Street is mostly similar to Apache RR 310. The bike will appear bare, with the chassis on display.
Speaking of features, the bike will have an aggressive front end with a split-type LED headlight arrangement. The bike will also feature a flat, broad handlebar with a gold finish. The tank's sharp lines highlight a bike's aggressive appearance. The saddle will have an exposed rear subframe and a split-seat. Similar to the split-type design TVS has been using on its most current motorcycles, the tail lamp will feature this style.
Similarities between Apache 310 & Apache 310 Street
The bike will include a monoshock at the back and an upside-down fork arrangement coated in gold. As with the RR 310 BTO model, expect TVS to offer the RTR 310 with adjustable suspension as an option. Dual-channel ABS-equipped petal-style disc brakes will be used for stopping on the bike. In addition to the amenities already available on the Apache RR 310, TVS may consider adding traction control, a quick-shifter & other features to the RTR 310.
The motorbike will be driven by a 312 cc reverse-inclined single-pot liquid-cooled engine with a 6-speed transmission. The engine will churn out 33 bhp & 27.3 Nm. The RR 310 has 4 riding modes: Urban, Rain, Sport and Track. The engine will also deliver 160 kmph top speed & a 0-60 kmph time of 2.93 seconds. The RTR 310 should be quicker and faster due to its reduced kerb weight.
Expect the RTR 310 to be less expensive than the RR 310, which is priced for Rs 2.65 lakh, ex-showroom. Additionally, one may anticipate paying between Rs 2.40 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh for this new bike, ex-showroom. The RTR 310 will compete against the BMW G 310 R, the KTM 390 Duke and Duke 250, and the freshly released Triumph Speed 400.
