Traction Control Now Becomes a Standard in Every Yamaha Bikes in India

Yamaha Motor India, in their recent event, launched an all- new bike - FZS-FI V4 DLX alongside the updated FZ-X, MT-15 v2.0 and R15 M. However, what stole everybody’s attention was the fact that these motorbikes will comply with the new OBD-2 norms, which are set to come into effect on March 31, 2023. Moreover, by the end of 2023, Yamaha 2-wheelers that are sold in India will also be compatible with E20 fuel (20% ethanol mixed with petrol). Among these, the company also announced that they would be equipping all their bikes with traction control as a standard addition, which will make its bikes Rs 1,000-4,000 more expensive than before.

Yamaha FZS-FI V4 deluxe, FZ-X, MT-15 v2.0, R15M: Price

The Yamaha FZ-FI v3 is one of the most affordable Yamaha bikes in India, with a price tag of Rs 1.15 lakhs. The all-new FZ-X, however, comes with a price tag of Rs 1.68 lakh in India, making it Rs 2,000-3,000 more expensive than the former. The MT-15 v2.0 new price is now set at Rs 1.68 lakh in India, making it Rs 2,000-4,000 more expensive than the current model. The R15M will now be sold at Rs 1,000 costlier than before, at Rs 1,94 Lakh in India.

What's new with the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Deluxe, FZ-X, MT-15 v2.0, and R15M?

All of Yamaha's Indian motorcycle models have been modified, and they are now all outfitted with LED indicators and a traction control system (TCS). The new FZS-FI V4 has an updated LED headlight that LED Daytime Running Lamps surround. Grey, red, and black are the three colours that are offered. Dual channel ABS is now standard on the MT-15 v2.0, and golden alloys are now included with the FZ-X. The R15M is another model that has seen a significant update. It now has a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and can show a lap timer.
