The arrival of the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is anticipated in the coming weeks. This 250cc bike is likely to be priced at Rs. 2,19,000 in India. This upcoming bike in May 2024 will feature a 249.07cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 31PS @ 9,500rpm and 25Nm @ 7,500rpm.
Furthermore, its engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox that uses EMS-registered gear movement for smooth shifts without a clutch. The Svartpilen 250 sports a distinctive scrambler-style design akin to the Svartpilen 401.
This upcoming bike is equipped with a pillion grabrail, engine bash plate, clip-on handlebar, mid-set footpegs, and a small flyscreen. It will compete fiercely with models like the KTM 250 Duke, Bajaj Dominar 250, and Suzuki Gixxer 250 in the market.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is the “biggest Pulsar” model yet. It will be available from May 3, 2024. This upcoming bike price is expected to be around Rs 1.80 lakh in India. Anticipation is high for this flagship addition, featuring a muscular design with sharp lines typical of NS models. Notably, the NS400 will introduce a quick shifter to enhance the riding experience.
The most awaited upcoming bike for May 2024, NS400, will be powered by a 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 40 bhp and 35 Nm torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch.
Also, the brand revealed some exciting spy shots of the NS400 before launch that showcased significant details about its design and features.
Okaya, known for its batteries, has entered the electric motorcycle market with the Ferrato Disruptor. This EV is priced at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). After pre-booking through their website, the Disruptor will start deliveries by August 2024. The bike features a mid-mounted permanent magnet motor with 3.3 kW nominal and 6.37 kW peak power connected to a chain drive system.
It can reach a top speed of 95 kmph and offers three ride modes: Eco, City, and Sports, along with a reverse assist mode. This launch signifies Okaya's move into the electric vehicle segment with an innovative, performance-focused motorcycle.

The Xoom 160 has a 156cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 14 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. It features Hero's i3s stop-start technology and a silent starter.
On the other hand, the Xoom 125R is powered by a 124.6cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.5 bhp and 10.14 Nm torque. This upcoming scooter in May 2024 offers slightly less torque compared to other Hero 125cc scooters. These models signify Hero's expansion into diverse scooter segments with distinct performance characteristics.
Bajaj is developing a more affordable variant of the Chetak scooter aimed at budget-conscious buyers. Recent spy shots online revealed key details about this upcoming scooter in India. The new variant will feature a mid-mounted motor instead of a hub motor.
This scooter will offer a top speed of 73kmph and a range of 113km. The shift to a mid-mounted motor could enhance cost efficiency while retaining essential features.
