Last year, at India Bike Week, there were a total of four custom-built X440 motorcycles showcased. The four custom designs included one scrambler, a flat-tracker, one cafe racer, and one roadster with a sidecar. Recently, Harley Davidson also offered discounts on the X440. This bike is their first model to come from the collaboration with Hero MotoCorp. Moreover, these special X440s show the potential of customization in India by Harley-Davidson.
Rajputana Custom Motorcycles has created a Flat Track Racer. The customized Harley Davidson X440 has a round, classic fuel tank, custom main frame and subframe, extended swingarm, single-seat, and under-seat exhaust. It also features a front beak, neat tail section, black wire-spoke rims, knobby tyres and rear mono-shock suspension. This bike by Rajputana Customs has a larger rear disc brake, no headlight, and a new Tracker-style front.
Old Delhi Motorcycles added a sidecar to the Harley Davidson X440. The sidecar has one wheel and connects to the main frame with two hydraulic struts to absorb side movements. The bike also has custom seats, leather saddles, and a custom rear fender.
This is another customised bike from Delhi. It is likely the coolest Harley-Davidson X440 build. TNT Customs made it into a Cafe Racer with a stylish and pleasing look. They kept the fuel tank and main frame but changed them to fit a rear mono-shock suspension. The rear subframe and exhaust are custom-made. It also features a single seat, bright colors, a custom handlebar, and balloon tyres.
Bombay Custom Work has created a Flat Tracker bike. They painted the X440’s frame red and the fuel tank in white and black with gold accents. They removed the fenders and the headlight and added retro A/T tyres.
