Tarun Mehta Predicts Over 1 Crore Ev Sales By 2028 In India

Ather’s CEO also said that the improving charging infrastructure, increasing variety of electric two-wheelers available and the government's impulse for electrification are crucial for electrification in India. 

Moreover, Ather Energy is planning to launch new scooters. These lineups are likely to be packed with features and comfort. The electric two-wheeler market in India is growing rapidly. Also, India will become one of the largest electric two-wheelers in the world. Apart from this, during CY 2023 around 1.5 million EVs were sold in India which was marked 36% with sales of 8.57 lakh units.
