Suzuki Motorcycle India Records 84,966 Sold Units for January 2023

The two-wheeler division of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), reported an overall sale of 84,966 units in January 2023. In January 2023, the company sold 66,209 units on the local market and 18,757 units abroad. Compared to the same month in the previous year, Suzuki Motorcycle India saw an overall year-over-year gain of 21.2% in January 2023.

Satoshi Uchida, MD of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd., said, “The two-wheeler industry continues to experience some headwinds. However, we at Suzuki Motorcycle India continue to experience robust demand resulting in a significant double-digit year-on-year growth of 21.2% in January 2023. We are grateful to our customers, dealer partners and staff members who supported us to carry on this sales momentum. We are confident that we will keep experiencing steady demand both from the domestic and overseas markets in the future too”.

At the Auto Expo 2023 in January 2023, Suzuki Motorcycle India also displayed a functional prototype of its flex-fuel motorcycle.
