Suzuki Launches 2023 V-Strom SX, Burgmann Street EX and Gixxer 250 In India

V-Strom SX and GIxxer 250 will now be E20 compliant, meeting the new standards.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has taken a step towards sustainability by introducing E20-compliant models in their lineup. The newly introduced models include the V-Strom SX, the Gixxer 250 series, and the Burgman Street EX. E20 fuel is a blend that contains 20% ethanol. The company already offers E20-compliant models like the Suzuki Gixxer series, the Access 125, the Burgman Street, and the Avensis in the Indian market. Suzuki has not disclosed any information regarding price changes for these E20 Fuel-Ready models. The V-Strom SX, Gixxer 250 series, and Burgman Street EX will be available at all Suzuki Premium dealerships from the third week of June 2023, complying with the latest emission requirements.

New Upgrades in V-Strom SX, the Gixxer 250cc series

Suzuki India has indeed launched the updated versions of the V-Strom SX, the Gixxer 250cc series (including the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250), and the Burgman Street EX in India. These models comply with the E20 fuel blend and feature OBD II technology. Integrating OBD-II allows an onboard diagnostics system to identify and monitor emissions quickly. However, there is no official announcement regarding price change; these updated models are expected to continue to be sold at their previous prices.

Price Variation of the Suzuki Bikes

Suzuki has confirmed that it will not increase the V-Strom SX and the Gixxer 250 series prices. The V-Strom SX will maintain its price of Rs 2.11 lakh, while the Gixxer 250 range will be priced between Rs 1.81 lakh and Rs 2.02 lakh for the top variant.

Suzuki has been proactive in making its scooter range, including the Access, Avenis, and Burgman Street, E20 compliant a few months ago. With the addition of the 250cc range meeting the new norms, all Suzuki showrooms will exclusively sell the E20-compliant models. Bookings for the bikes have already started, and deliveries are expected to commence in the coming days.
