Rahul Gandhi Has A KTM 390, But Doesn’t Ride It? Here’s Why!

In a recent video, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi was seen interacting with a mechanic of Karol Bagh, where he revealed that he owns a KTM 390 himself.

Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi owns a KTM 390 but cannot ride it due to security protocols. He revealed this in a video that went viral. In the video, he was seen interacting with the mechanics in Delhi’s Karol Bagh Market. The Congressman was seen learning the servicing techniques and trying his hands to repair the motorcycle.

We have seen multiple celebrities being passionate about fancy automobiles and have made headlines because of that. But a huge politician like Rahul Gandhi has truly moved us to the edge of our seats, especially when he said he has none other than the KTM 390, a sporty-bike most popular among the younger generation.

He seemed quite excited about the bike, but that soon changed as disappointment overpowered when he told that due to the strict security routines, it is prohibited to him to ride his beloved KTM 390. And because of safety issues, the high-performance motorbike sits idle in his garage. "I have a KTM390, but I can't use it because my security guards won't let me," Gandhi explained. Unfortunately, he did not specify which model of the KTM 390 he was referring to.

The Austrian high-performance motorbike company works with Bajaj Auto in India. Their current Indian portfolio includes 390 Duke, RC 390, and 390 Adventure, which are naked, supersport, and adventure tourer models.

About KTM 390 Duke

The KTM 390 Duke is a naked streetfighter that costs Rs. 2,97,475 ex-showroom, Delhi. The luxury motorbike is noted for its great performance as well as its crisp curved look. The motorbike produces 43.5 PS of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm with its 373.27 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cool, DOHC engine. The same engine powers the RC 390 and 390 Adventure versions, producing the same power and torque.
