Packed with Tech, Ducati 2023 Scrambler Launched At Rs. 10.39 Lakhs

The new-generation Scrambler line from Ducati has been introduced in India, with price starting at Rs. 10.39 lakh. Three additional variations—Scrambler Icon, Full Throttle & Nightshit—are now available in the new collection. The new frame, swingarm, and engine are lighter than before. This makes bikes in the new Scrambler line 4 kg lighter. Ducati has also improved the electronic suite that is included with the Scrambler.

The Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Full Throttle, and Scrambler Nightshift are among the new-generation Scrambler models available in India. Ducati announced that orders for the new Scrambler motorcycles have already begun. The deliveries will shortly begin for the placed orders.

2023 Ducati Scrambler: Gearbox & Engine

The Ducati Scrambler is powered by an 803CC, L-twin cylinder, oil & air-cooled Desmodue engine. The engine delivers 73 bhp at 8250 rpm65.2 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. However, Ducati claims the engine has never been lighter & has lost up to 2.5 kg in weight. A six-speed gearbox handles gearbox tasks as before. The Scrambler Icon, Nightshift & Full Throttle trims are also available with a quick-shifter option. Moreover, a quick-shifter is standard on the Nightshift.

Key Design Changes for the 2023 Ducati Scrambler

Embracing its iconic heritage, Ducati has elegantly designed the Scrambler series, ensuring distinct styling across all three trims. Starting with the entry-level Icon, the tank boasts a subtle redesign & increased customisation options. The tank also has replaceable panels on the fender, wheel tags & headlight covers. Moreover, the lowered handlebar promises enhanced rider control, complemented by a brand-new, flatter seat for added comfort.

For those looking for an exciting experience, the Full Throttle trim embodies the spirit of U.S. flat track competitions. This is evident in its sporty appearance. The tribute to the inaugural Scrambler year, '62', adorns a side number plate. Additionally, the Full Throttle boasts a striking livery in GP19 Red/Dark Stealth, enabling a fierce presence on the road.

Finally, the Nightshift emerges as the epitome of elegance in the Scrambler lineup, representing sophistication with a unique cafe racer style. The cafe racer style is exclusive Nebula Blue colouring & spoked wheels. Each Scrambler trim offers a unique & exciting riding experience, pleasing every enthusiast.

Efficient Brakes & Suspension

The 2023 Ducati Scrambler has a suspension of 41mm-USD Kyaba forks at the front & shock absorbers with adjustable spring pre-load at the back. The model offers three different trim levels, each with wheels measuring 18 inches up front & 17 inches back. Brembo has a single 330mm disc & four-piston monobloc calliper for the front wheel. It also has a 245mm disc & one-piston calliper for the rear wheel.

New-Gen Technologies

The 2017 Ducati Scrambler has a Ducati Multimedia system with a  4.3-inch instrument cluster as a key accessory. It allows you to use your phone's Bluetooth connection to control music & calls. Additionally, the Scrambler now has two ride modes, Road & Wet, thanks to installing a ride-by-wire throttle.

Other significant upgrades include a revised swingarm & updated trellis frame. These two features have helped the Ducati Scrambler lose 4 kg of weight from its predecessor.
