Ola S1 & Ola S1 Air Electric Scooters Get New Variants

Here is all the information you need to know about Ola Electric new S1 and S1 Air electric scooter versions, which have been released with differing battery capacity.

A new 2kWh battery pack type with a claimed range of 91km per charge and a top speed of 90km has been released in the more expensive S1 line. The claimed range and speed of the basic S1 with a 3kWh battery pack are 141 km and 95 km/h. The normal S1 costs Rs 1,09,999, whilst the new, more affordable version is available now for Rs 99,999.

The S1 Air, on the contrary, is a more reasonably priced option that directly competes with 110cc gasoline scooters thanks to its smaller 4.5kW motor and a top speed of 85kmph.

There are now three variations of the S1 Air, each having a battery capacity of 2kWh, 3kWh, or 4kWh.

The S1 Air was only offered in one variation at the time of its introduction and differed significantly from other models of the recently revealed e-scooter. It has a 2.5 kWh battery with a top speed of 90 kmph and a claimed range of 101 km.

Ola's decision to expand the range of e-scooter models it offers could help it reach a wider audience and appeal to a variety of demographics. In addition, the EV manufacturer promised a portfolio of four electric motorcycles in various categories, including adventure, naked, and retro-style.

Bookings for the S1 Air are already open, and because of the new choices, delivery will begin in July 2023. In addition, customers who have made a 2.5kWh S1 Air reservation will receive a free upgrade to the 3kWh EV model.
