Ola Electric launched its cheapest electric scooter, the Ola S1 X Electric Scooter, on August 15, 2023, in many cities throughout India. It offers three battery options with different price points and riding ranges. Featuring a physical key and a long warranty, Ola aims to overcome barriers to electric vehicle adoption. Additionally, the brand is aiming to get the tag of the most affordable electric scooter in India.

This EV scooter is available in three options for batteries: 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh, priced at Rs. 70,000, Rs. 85,000, and Rs. 1 lakh (before taxes), respectively. These choices provide different ranges for your adventurous journey: 95km, 143km, and 190km. Additionally, while the 3kWh and 4kWh versions can attain a top speed of 90kmph, the primary version goes as much as 85kmph. All of them have three modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—for special adventure riding experiences. Unlike different S1 fashions, the S1 X has a bodily key, a feature many clients need and choose.
One incredible component about the Ola S1 X—and all of Ola's merchandise is that they all include an eight-year/80,000km warranty as standard. The S1 X e-scooter Price starts from Rs. 69,999 - 99,999 in India. Customers can pay extra to extend it to at least 1,00,000km or 1,25,000km for Rs. 4,999 or Rs. 12,999, respectively. Additionally, with this warranty program, the company says it’s trying to address one of the barriers to EV adoption, which is people’s perception of electric two-wheelers having a very limited lifespan.
