Ola Electric has announced its March sales figures of 53,000 e-scooters. These are the highest sales figures for the brand in a single month. It is the fifth consecutive month since the brand has been breaking its own sales record. The brand has offered several attractive discounts, which have significantly increased the demand for its popular electric two-wheelers among customers.
Besides, the Ola Electric scooter brand has showcased an overall growth of 115% in FY 2024 compared to FY 2023. Moreover, during the last quarter of FY24, Ola's 2-wheeler sales grew by 42% compared with the past quarter, when it sold 119,310 units.
Ola Electric Scooter sold around 1,52,741 units in 2023, whereas in FY24, they have already reached an impressive 3,28,785 sales units mark. This consistent growth demonstrates Ola Electric's strong market position and ability to meet the increasing demand for electric two-wheelers.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, Anshul Khandelwal, said, as we quote, "There couldn't have been a better year-end for us than FY24 with our registrations zooming past the 53,000 mark in March. The past year has been a momentous one for us as well as the EV industry, and we have been the market leader for the full financial year, recording consistent growth in both volumes and market share. The fact that we recorded almost 1.20 lakh registrations in Q4 FY24 alone speaks volumes of our robust scooter portfolio, and we aim to continue the growth trajectory and contribute further to India's electrification journey."
Ola Electric scooter's current lineup includes 3 e-scooters: the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1X+. Ola’s e-scooter price ranges from Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 1.3 lakh. Moreover, the Ola electric scooters feature MoveOS 4, the company's latest operating system, ensuring top-notch performance and features.
Ola Electric is making big moves to advance electric vehicle adoption. They've rolled out several new initiatives to make it easier for people to switch to EVs. The brand is expanding its Ola scooty lineup to six models, including S1 Pro, S1 Air, S1 X+, S1 X - 2 kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh models.
A major highlight is the extended battery warranty of 8 years or 80,000 km. They've also introduced an add-on warranty option for those who want even more coverage. Expanding their service network is another smart move. Moreover, they're making it easier for customers to get support by opening their 450th service centre in Prayagra. It’s going to very interesting to see the future growth of this brand and everything it is going to offer in the coming years.
