This two-wheeler also has a side-stand engine cut-off feature for safety. Moreover, it has an Idle Stop-Start System (i3S) that helps save fuel by automatically turning off the engine when it idles in traffic. These features make the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 practical and convenient for everyday use.
This Hero bike is powered by a 97.2 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. Moreover, the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 engine produces just over 8 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. It is connected to a four-speed transmission, offering smooth gear shifts. The bike features a claimed mileage of about 73 kmpl. This mileage is due to Hero’s patented i3S technology.
Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 uses drum brakes at both the front and rear. The suspension system includes conventional telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is 9.8 litres, making it convenient for long rides without frequent refuelling.
