TVS Motors surprises its customers by launching the new electric scooter TVS X at Rs. 2.49 Lakhs. It is the second e-scooter of the Hosur-based company after iQube. The company will bring a combination of both functional features and stylish design elements. Here, we will discuss the new TVS X e-scooter in detail.
The new TVS X e-scooter offers a dynamic appearance and a completely new design. It is similar to the Creon concept shown a few years ago. New TVS X production version, the cuts and creases, sharp body panels, and the young design approach are all quite visible.
TVS X features full LED lighting and a 10.2-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity through TVS SmartXonnect for navigation, calls, and SMS access. It also features a customised home screen with three riding modes: Xtride, Xonic, and Xtealth. The e-scooter includes OTA updates, cruise control, and several other features.
The company claims that the new TVS X EV has a top speed of 105kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 2.6 seconds. It is powered by a 4.44kWh battery offering a range of 140km and an 11kW peak power motor.
Meanwhile, the hardware includes telescopic front forks, an offset monoshock, a 220mm front and a 195mm rear disc brake with single-channel ABS. It has a 220mm front and 195mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. The setup runs on 12-inch wheels with 100/80 front and 110/80 rear tyres.
