The GSX250R, a quarter-litre fully-faired bike from Suzuki, has a new colour option- Metallic Diamond Red and Pearl Nebular Black in the international markets. This is the only change made to the new model year.
The 2023 GSX250R has no other changes apart from the new colour option. The bike uses a liquid-cooled, SOHC engine with a 248 cc parallel-twin configuration. Its powerful engine produces 24 bhp of power and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 17-inch alloy wheels have KYB telescopic forks in the front and a KYB mono-shock in the rear. Nissin callipers provide braking power to a single disc on both wheels. The bike weighs 181 kg (kerb) and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
The bike’s appearance is the same as before. It has a geometric headlamp that resembles the larger GSXRs. The side fairing is angular, matching the sculpted fuel tank and the long and raised tail section.
A chrome-shielded exhaust canister adds some bulk to its look. It has simple features like a full-LED lighting system and a negative LCD instrument cluster.
The Suzuki GSX250R 2023 model is not expected to launch in India soon. However, Suzuki offers another fully-faired bike, the Gixxer SF 250, a flexible and economical option.
