The 2023 KTM 390 Duke features a New frame and bodywork that could be launched at the end of the year.
The new KTM 390 Duke is seen testing yet again, and we have some close spy pictures of it. The overall bodywork and design suggest that the bike is in its final production stages. The KTM 390 Duke will retain its distinctive, aggressive styling, known for its sharp lines and angular bodywork. The spy shots likely reveal a continuation of KTM's signature design language, showcasing a sporty and dynamic appearance.
The next generation of the 390 Duke showcases a more aggressive design. The tank shrouds appear larger, and the headlamp, while identical to the existing model, seems to be modified. Although it is still a vertically stacked LED unit, the boomerang-like LED DRLs seem more aggressive. The mirrors also differ from the ones on the present model. Furthermore, the next 390 Duke will include a revised rear sub-frame.
The upcoming next-generation KTM 390 Duke is expected to feature a slightly tweaked engine. KTM utilises a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 373cc engine configuration for the 390 Duke. This engine of KTM delivers 42.9bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 37 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. However, the next-gen model is anticipated to receive a different tuning and possibly altered internals to enhance performance, fuel efficiency, or both.
The spy shots also reveal a dual radiator fan setup, similar to the configuration found on the 2023 RC 390. This modification is likely intended to improve heat dissipation, ensuring optimal engine operation even at slightly higher temperatures. Efficient heat dissipation is crucial to maintain engine performance and reliability, especially during spirited riding or in hot weather conditions.
The upcoming KTM 390 Duke is set to be equipped with a range of advanced features complementing its LED illumination. These features are likely to include a TFT display, ABS, a quick-shifter, traction control, and smartphone connectivity, among others. Furthermore, the motorcycle's hardware will see significant upgrades, drawing inspiration from the RC model. It will incorporate WP USD forks in the front end and a mono-shock suspension at the rear. The bike's front disc brake appears substantial, while the wheels bear a resemblance to those found on the Duke supersport siblings. Overall, the new KTM 390 Duke promises a combination of enhanced technology, performance, and design elements to deliver an exhilarating riding experience.
There are so many different updates that KTM 390 Duke comes with. The bike's price seems to be higher than the current model of bike's price of Rs. 2.97 Lakh(Ex-Showroom, Delhi). After its launch, it will compete with BMW G 310 R and Honda CB300R.
