Moto Morini has added another model to its portfolio - the Calibro 650cc Cruiser bike. This new cruiser bike shares the same 649cc parallel-twin engine with the X-Cape Adventure bike & Seiemmezzo scrambler. So, there is no doubt that this new Moto Morini cruiser bike will be a pure delight to ride on!
The CFMoto-sourced engine (which closely resembles Kawasaki's 649cc parallel twin) produces 60 bhp & 54 Nm in the other two bikes. Ergo, one can expect a similar power output from this new Moto Morini Cruiser as well.
The company claims that the cruiser will be sold in an A2-Compliant version with a 35 kW (47.6 hp) maximum power output.
Moto Morini Calibro 650cc Cruiser comes with front twin shock absorbers and a conventional telescopic forks bitten by J Juan callipers for smooth drive experience. Additionally, for braking duties, it comes with single disc brakes on both ends .The front & rear alloy wheels are 18 inches & 16 inches, respectively, covered with Timsun rubber. The bike comes with 720-millimetre seat height, which is accessible for most riders.
All the specifications & features will be revealed at EICMA this year. However, for now, we do know that the bike will have a 15-litre fuel tank, which is quite impressive.
In terms of style, it is more of a stubby & sporty cruiser compared to a long, raked-out one, resembling the new Kawasaki Eliminator. The bike features a fairly slim & slender fuel tank, a small headlight shroud for added sportiness & the sleek-looking fork gaiters.
The company has revealed that the price range be told in the upcoming EICMA event taking place between November 7-12, this year in Milan. As Morini's 2 existing models gain traction, the spotlight turns to the potential Indian debut of the Calibro.
