Matter Aera e-Bike Launched In India with the base Price of Rs. 1.43 Lakhs

The Aera bike is offered in four variants and is equipped with a 5 kWh battery that produces 13.4 bhp. The Matter Aera variant specifically has a 5 kWh battery unit, which is backed by a 3-year warranty and complimentary roadside assistance for the same duration.
Matter, an Indian startup, has introduced its first electric motorcycle, the Aera, with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.44 lakh. The Aera is presently available in four variants, n: Aera4000, Aera 5000, Aera 5000+, and Aera 6000+. 

However, the company has only disclosed the ex-showroom prices for two of the models, namely the Aera 5000 and Aera 5000+. The Aera 5000 is priced at Rs. 1.44 lakhs, while the Aera 5000+ costs Rs. 1.54 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Boasting sharp lines and aggressive styling, the bike has a highly unique design. The instrument cluster consists of a 7-inch touchscreen LCD screen that provides WiFi and 4G connectivity

The bike also offers numerous additional features, including passive keyless entry, park assist, gear indicator, and offline navigation. Additionally, the bike provides four driving modes.

Matter's Aera electric motorcycle has a 5 kWh battery unit that can reportedly deliver a range of 125 km. The battery is liquid-cooled and generates a power output of 13.4 bhp. This massive power allows the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in less than 6 seconds

Although the launch event did not mention the bike's torque figures. But, the company previously stated that it would have a peak torque of 520 Nm.

The battery unit of the Aera electric motorcycle takes five hours to charge with regular charging and two hours with fast charging

The bike comes with a dual-sensor single-channel ABS system. Further equipped with front and rear disc brakes and a HyperShift 4-speed manual transmission, making it the sole electric bike on the market with these features. Additionally, the company has confirmed in a statement that it will subsequently introduce the Aera 6000 with a 6 kWh battery pack.

The Aera will be provided with a 3-years warranty for its battery pack. In addition, the company will also provide complimentary roadside assistance for the same duration. The brand has announced plans to establish its first experience centre in Ahmedabad next month and aims to open nearly 100 dealerships throughout the country by year-end.
