The CVO is the latest Harley-Davidson motorbike lineup to get modifications. The company has been very actively updating its motorcycle lineup. After carefully examining numerous leaked pictures of the CVO Road Glide & CVO Street Glide that have been posted online, here’s what we expect.
A few important facts about the 2023 CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide are revealed in the spy photos. One can start by noticing the CVO Road Glide’s broader and sharper-looking fairing, which conceals a sizable LED headlamp within DRLs. In addition, unlike the previous models, which had indicator stalks mounted outside, the turn indicators on this one are built into the fairing and flank the headlight.
At the top of the fairing, there is a sizable windscreen that should be electronically movable. The lower fairing’s design has also been changed, and while it blends with the enormous fairing at the top, it also has a sharper appearance than the component on the bike from 2022.
The batwing fairing on 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide has a similar backstory. It has more angular, contemporary aesthetics and a new LED headlight with U-shaped LED DRL surrounding it. The LED strips on both sides of the headlight, though, are what really stand out. Due to the absence of indicator stalks adjacent to the fairing, these appear to serve as both turn indicators and stop lights.
Aside from the design, both bikes have brand-new, appealing wheels, especially the ones on the Road Glide. Yet the creation of a USD fork must be the main topic of conversation. Compared to the telescopic fork on the previous versions, it should somewhat increase front-end stability and feedback. It’s also possible that the bike’s rear suspension has been modified. The bikes use radially mounted Brembo callipers for the brakes.
Last but not least, the engine casing on Road Glide shows that it is powered by the 1982cc Milwaukee eight engine, which is 121 cubic inches or less, as opposed to the 117 cubic inches version on the earlier bikes.
It’s anticipated that the 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide will go on sale in the US soon, and the bikes may arrive in India in the coming months.
