Suzuki Motorcycle India’s Gixxer series holds significant relevance in the 2-wheeler industry of India. They experience respectable sales not only domestically but also significantly boost Suzuki exports from India. Suzuki Motorcycle India has given its entire Gixxer line a little makeover as of February 2023, aimed to boost customer appeal and satisfaction. 

New Suzuki Gixxer First Look

There are presently four models in the Suzuki Gixxer lineup: the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, and Gixxer 250 SF. In addition, Suzuki Ride Connect is now standard across the board for this entire range, with new colour schemes. Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue are the new colour options for the 2023 Gixxer SF250.

Gixxer 250 is available in Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue. In addition, metallic Sonic Silver/ Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black are some of the Gixxer Series’ colour combinations. Suzuki Gixxer Series: Updated Price Range in India

Suzuki has raised prices across the board for the Gixxer line. Priced at Rs. 1,40,500 for the Gixxer, Rs. 1,45,000 for the SF, and Rs. 1,95,000 for the Gixxer 250. Gixxer SF 250 in metallic matte triton blue and metallic matte stellar blue is more expensive, costing Rs 2,02,500, than Gixxer SF 250 in metallic sonic silver and metallic matte black No. 2. (all prices ex-showroom).

Gixxer 150 prices have increased by Rs 5,700, Gixxer SF 150 prices have increased by Rs 8,500, and Gixxer 250 prices have increased by Rs 13,600. Gixxer SF 250, the top model, has increased by Rs 10,400. The street bikes Gixxer and Gixxer 250 are bare. On the other hand, the Gixxer SF and Gixxer SF 250 are sport bikes with fairings.

New Suzuki Ride Connect Feature

The company is adding the Ride Connect technology to its whole line of Gixxer motorcycles to improve the riding experience further. A digital console with Bluetooth capabilities includes this connectivity function. The application can be linked to the user’s smartphone to provide features like turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call, SMS, WhatsApp alerts and missed call alerts. Additionally, a warning for exceeding the speed limit and the phone’s battery life are indicated. Both iOS and Android devices can use the app.

A 155cc engine with 13.41 bhp and 13.8 Nm of torque, and 5-speed transmission power, the Suzuki Gixxer. A 249cc engine with a 6-speed gearbox and 26.13 bhp, and 22.2 Nm of torque powers the Gixxer 250 series. The Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS, TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda X-Blade, Yamaha FZS, and Hero Xtreme 160R are still directly competing with the Gixxer and Gixxer SF. Gixxer 250 competes in its segment against the Yamaha FZ-25 and the KTM Duke 250.
