Latest Hero Rally Bike Revealed: Here’s Everything You Need to Know!

Hero MotoCorp Team has participated in the ongoing INRSC (Indian National Rally Sprint Championship), taking place in Bengaluru. However, the company is racing with an entirely new bike along with race-spec XPulse 200 4V Rally at the event.

2 Racers took the new rally bike, and the other 3 racers took the race-spec XPulse 200 4V Rally. It is evident that the company used the event as a testbed to evaluate the new rally bike’s highest potential. Thanks to DNA Rods for sharing this update.

The new Hero rally bike has participated in the 400cc and above category (Group A). This gives us a clear picture of what Hero MotoCorp is planning for the future. And as there has been significant growth in the middleweight segment, it won’t be surprising to see Hero belting in too. The middleweight segment is no longer a niche market. Rather, it has become more mainstream than ever before.

The new Hero Rally bike, which will be 400 cc or above, is expected to underpin the brand’s upcoming ADV. The Hero ADV bike is set to rival bikes like KTM 390 ADV, Royal Enfield Himalayan, etc. This new Hero 400cc bike could also strongly challenge the Royal Enfield bikes as the primary USPs; such performance and affordability are common in both.

There are rumours that the new bike will feature a 420 cc engine capacity and is likely to be named Xpulse 420cc upon its launch later next year. Some key highlights of the new bike might include

  • Flat headlamp casing with LED light,
  • Flat handlebar with brace pad,
  • Knuckle guards,
  • Raised front fender,
  • Fortified front forks,
  • Wire-spoke wheels,
  • Knobby off-road tyres,
  • Compact fuel tank,
  • Slim seat design and
  • Under seat exhaust.

The bike will further feature a mono-shock suspension. However, the tall seat height might make it challenging for shorter riders. The tall seat height will explain the bike’s extra-long side stand. In addition, it will be equipped with disc brakes on either side of the bike.

Hero new 420cc Bike: Performance & Specs

The new Hero 420cc middleweight bike’s performance number might be similar to that of its competitors, like Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the market. It will belt out a peak power output of 35 bhp and 40 Nm torque

Hero MotoCorp has been seeing a rise in its sales. Here are the top models that you need to know about!
