KTM India Opens Bookings for Big Bikes: 890 Adventure R, 1390 Super Duke R & More

KTM India has officially started taking bookings for its large motorcycles. KTM’s showroom at Mehkri Circle in Bengaluru has been under renovation for several months and is turning into its first flagship store. Recently, KTM put up a banner announcing that bookings have started for some of its big bikes.
 

KTM’s Big Bikes Available for Booking

According to the banner, KTM is accepting bookings for the 1390 Super Duke R and 1390 Super Adventure. These two motorcycles are very powerful. In addition, KTM’s motocross and enduro motorcycles are also available for booking. Soon, you will also be able to book the 990 Duke and 890 Adventure R.
 

The booking amount for these bikes will range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, depending on the model. So, if you want one of these bikes, you will need to pay this amount upfront.
 

Launch at India Bike Week 2024

The official launch of these motorcycles is likely to happen at the 2024 India Bike Week. This event will be held on December 6-7, 2024. KTM is expected to reveal more details during this event. Moreover, the bikes will come to India as completely built-up units (CBU) from Austria, meaning they will have high import costs.
 

About KTM 890 Adventure R

KTM 890 Adventure R is famous for its off-road ability. Its design is based on the 790 Adventure but looks sharper and more aggressive. This motorcycle is powered by an 889cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that delivers 103.5 bhp and 100 Nm of torque.
 

The 890 Adventure R has a 20-litre fuel tank and long suspension travel. Moreover, the bike has a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, split seats, and Dakar Rally-inspired ergonomics. This makes it perfect for adventure rides.
