Honda Two Wheelers To Get Extended Warranty Upto 10 Years

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India introduced its new Extended Warranty Plus Program. It allows the customers to get an extended warranty of up to 10 Years. This program provides flexibility regarding the timeframe within which customers can purchase the extended warranty. The window to purchase the extended warranty ranges from 91 days to the 9th year from the date of vehicle purchase.

The Honda EW Plus program stands out by providing extensive 10-year warranty coverage. This extended warranty coverage goes beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty and offers customers added protection for longer. Another advantage of the Honda EW Plus program is that the warranty coverage is transferable, even if there is a change in ownership. 

Customers have the flexibility to choose from three options under the EW Plus program based on the age of their vehicles:

• 3-year policy for vehicles up to the 7th year of age: This option provides three years of coverage for vehicles up to seven years old. It ensures protection for important components and systems during this period.
• 2-year policy for vehicles in their 8th year: Customers with vehicles in their eighth year can opt for the 2-year policy. It extends warranty coverage for an additional two years.
• 1-year policy for vehicles in their 9th year: For vehicles in their ninth year, the 1-year policy offers coverage for one more year. 

The EW Plus program also provides specific kilometre limits for coverage for all scooter models. The program offers coverage for up to 120,000 kilometres, while for all motorcycle models, the coverage extends up to 130,000 kilometres. This ensures that customers can enjoy the benefits of the extended warranty up to the specified kilometre limits.

The pricing structure for the extended warranty is based on the vehicle's engine capacity. The pricing for models up to 150cc starts at an affordable rate of Rs. 1,317. For models in the range of 150 cc to 250 cc, the pricing begins at Rs. 1,667. The pricing structure takes into account the purchase year of the vehicle. It ensures that customers have flexible and affordable options for extended warranty coverage.
