Honda Hornet 2.0 & Dio 125 Launched With Repsol Edition

The mechanical side of the Honda Repsol Edition of Hornet 2.0 and Dio 125 stayed the same as the standard models.

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has launched the popular Hornet 2.0 and Dio 125 special edition variants. Both the vehicles get special liveries with Repsol Branding. Honda is intended to celebrate India's first MotoGP event - Moto GP Bharat.

Repsol is a Spanish lubricant brand that officially sponsors India's racing bikes. Repsol Honda is the official team of Honda Racing Corporation in the MotoGP class of Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing.

Let's check out the specifications of both models.

Repsol Edition Honda Hornet 2.0

2-wheeler giant Honda has recently showcased the Hornet 2.0 and made it comply with BS6 P2 emission standards. It also comes with RDE norms and E20 fuel compatibility. This naked street commuter is one of the sportiest, most popular and most appealing motorcycles in the segment. The bike has a good fanbase with its captivating design and appearance.

The price of this Repsol edition is Rs. 1.4 Lakh (Ex-showroom), which is Rs. 1,000 higher than the standard model. The new Repsol edition gets a new stylish and dual-tone livery. The primary colour schemes this bike offers are Ross White and Vibrant Orange. In addition, the Ross white elements extend from the rear subframe body panels to the side body panels and into its fuel tank.

On the fuel tank, this Ross White livery looks like a perimeter frame, even though the Hornet 2.0 is built with a diamond frame. The Hornet 2.0 Repsol Edition has red pillion grab handles and red pin striping on alloy wheels. The 184.4cc single-cylinder engine gets 17 BHP with 15.9 Nm of torque. In addition, it comes with a Slipper clutch, petal disc brakes, single-channel ABS and full LED notable elements.

Repsol Edition Honda Dio 125

The Honda Dio 125 is the newest addition to Honda's existing wide portfolio. The price range of the vehicle starts from Rs. 83,400, and this Repsol Edition is offered at Rs. 90,000. The new Dio shares all the design and panels from the 110CC Dio and packs with new features. The unique features of this scooter are a Smart Key and a Fully digital instrument cluster.

The new Repsol edition features the same Ross White and vibrant orange colours livery. Where Hornet 2.0 has black alloy wheels, this scooter has vibrant orange-painted wheels. The vehicle also gets multiple brandings, like the MOTO GP race bikes.

The 123.92 CC engine of this scooter churns out an 8.2 HP power with 10.4 Nm of torque. It features 12-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes and CBS as standard model.
