Honda has unveiled new colour options for its popular CT125, especially for the Thai market.

New Colors and Strategic Market Appeal

The CT125 is an incredible motorcycle known for its low power but versatility and performance. It is very popular in Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand. Although its specifications suggest that it is suitable for urban riding, many users have taken the CT125 on long journeys. Knowing this, the Japanese company has introduced a range of products such as top boxes and riding bags. Moreover, the CT125 has been repositioned as the preferred two-wheeler, making it more appealing than just city traffic.

The updated CT125 now comes in two new colors: Pearl Smoky Gray and Pearl Sugarcane Beige. These colors are present in all designs and have already appeared in many Thai showrooms. Honda has maintained the current price of the CT125, which is certainly a good thing.

Motorcycles like the CT125 play an important role in attracting new and younger customers to the Honda brand. Honda’s Indian division tried this with Navi a few years ago but failed. Since then, Honda India has shied away from experimenting with new designs or segments and instead focuses on mass-market scooters and motorcycles. While the focus on luxury bikes is commendable, the price tag is often out of reach for many Indian buyers.
