Honda CB350RS 2023: Check out the top 5 Highlights

The 2023 Hness CB350 and CB350RS are the latest offerings from Honda 2Wheelers India that comply with the upcoming RDE norms. The CB350RS is a sportier version of the Hness CB350 with different wheels, seats and tail sections

Both bikes have a 348.6 cc air-cooled engine that makes 21 bhp and 22 Nm of torque. The prices start from Rs 2.10 lakh for the Hness CB350 and Rs 2.15 lakh for the CB350RS (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The most significant update is the onboard diagnostics system that will be compulsory for all two-wheelers from 1 April 2023. The company has also improved rider safety by adding the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) that flashes all turn indicators (hazard light function) when the rider brakes hard to warn the vehicles behind. Moreover, the RS variant now has a Bluetooth module – a feature already in the Hness CB350.

It still has features like full-LED lights, a semi-digital display, hazard lights, a traction control system, dual-channel ABS, a USB port for charging, and an assist and slipper clutch. The company also offers optional accessory packs for this bike- Café-Racer Custom and SUV Custom. You can get these optional accessories at Honda BigWing stores by March 2023 end, and they come with a one-year warranty.

Is the 2023 Honda CB350RS different in terms of mechanical features?

The 2023 model has the required onboard diagnostics system but still uses the same 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. With a five-speed gearbox, this engine produces a maximum power of 20.78bhp at 5,500rpm and a maximum torque of 30 Nm at 3,000rpm.

The hardware stays similar to the previous bike as well. The suspension on the 2023 Honda CB350RS is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin springs at the back. It features a 310mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc for braking, with safety features like dual-channel ABS and a traction control system. The RS variant has tubeless tyres of 100/90 on its 19-inch front wheel and size 150/70 on its 17-inch rear wheel. The bike’s frame is half-duplex cradle type, weighing in at a kerb weight of 179 kg.

The 2023 Honda CB350RS keeps its retro look with a round headlight, a fuel tank shaped like a tear-drop, a flat handlebar, and a side-mounted exhaust with a chrome heat shield. But the RS version has a black finish on the headlight ring, exhaust pipes, and canister, unlike the Hness CB350. It comes in four colours. The DLX model has two colour options, and the DLX Pro has two colour choices too. See the table below for the colours for each variant.
