Hero MotoCorp announced the launch of the new Xoom 110 scooter with a starting price of Rs 68,599 (ex-showroom). In addition, the new scooter is now available in three trim levels: LX, VX and ZX. This brand-new scooter will compete with existing players in its segment, such as the Honda Activa 6G and TVS Jupiter 110.
If we talk about the ex-showroom price of the new Xoom 110 scooters, all 3 variants have different prices. The base variant is the LX-Sheet drum which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 68,599. Further, the other two variants are the VX-cast drum and the ZX-cast drum. The VX - Cast Drum has an ex-showroom price of Rs 71,799, whereas the ZX-Cast Drum has an ex-showroom price of Rs 76,699. One of the notable points is that these price ranges are shown for Delhi-based showrooms. So you may experience different price ranges for other states.
The Hero Xoom 110 colour palette includes five shades: Matte Orange, Black, Sports Red, Polestar Blue and PearlSilver White. All the colour options are the prettiest for the new scooter. Now, it will be your choice which colour is your favourite since the company did their job to provide you with all the glamorous options.
Further talking about some of the key features of the new Hero Xoom 110. It includes a full LED headlight and an X-shaped LED daytime running light. The top variant, ZS, also gets cornering lights. In addition, a fully digital instrument console is provided, which can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Mechanically, Hero Xoom 110 scooter uses an air-cooled single-cylinder 110.9 cc Fi engine. This powertrain is paired with a CVT transmission and delivers a maximum output of 8.04 bhp. In addition the scooter delivers a peak torque of 8.7 Nm. The Xoom VX and ZX variants get a wider 100/80-12 rear tire, while the LX variant gets a tire section 90/90-12. A 90/90-12 front tire is standard on all variants.
The seat height of the new Hero scooter has remained quite low at 770mm, and the ground clearance is 155mm. The scooter also received disc brakes and a telescopic fork in the top variant. Further, the top variant of the scooter, ZX, has a 190mm front disc brake, while other variants only have a 130mm drum brake on the front. The rear 130mm drum remained standard on all trims. Hero Xoom 110 has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres. In addition, the scooter weighs from 108 kg to 109 kg, depending on the option chosen.
