The current Vida V1, launched in October 2022, competes with Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube.
It is reported that Hero MotoCorp's electric two-wheeler division, Vida, is planning to expand its line of V1 e-scooters by launching more variants next year. The company's goal wants to increase brand awareness by opening new showrooms in multiple cities this year. It is also focussing on selling the current V1 e-scooter models. Once Vida establishes a strong presence in sales nationwide, it will introduce newer V1 versions in the following year.
During the Vida 1 launch in October 2022, the company highlighted the modular aspect of the e-scooter. The V1 platform was designed to allow the customisation of aesthetics by changing or removing body panels. It will provide customers with a variety of design choices to appeal to various consumer preferences.
Vida is expected to introduce variations in battery capacities, offering different pricing options for the e-scooter. This approach will cater to diverse consumer needs and budgets by providing different battery options. Vida's V1 e-scooter competes with other electric scooters, including the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and the Ola S1 Pro in the market.
