Hero MotoCorp, in collaboration with Thums Up, has unveiled a special edition of its Mavrick 440 bike called the Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels. The announcement was made via Thums Up’s social media, featuring cricketer Jasprit Bumrah. Lucky customers who scan the QR code behind a Thums Up bottle can get a chance to ride or even own this limited-edition bike.
The Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels comes with a unique dual-tone blue and red colour scheme, inspired by the Thums Up branding. The front fender is blue with red near the fork, and the headlight now includes a flyscreen. Moreover, the stock rearview mirrors have been replaced by stylish bar-end mirrors.
The tank also has a blue finish, with metallic grey and red Mavrick 440 badging. The engine crankcase has a golden finish that stands out from the stock Mavrick’s black design. Furthermore, the tail section features a blue finish and includes a pillion backrest as standard.
Mechanically, the Thunderwheels edition remains the same as the regular Mavrick 440. It is powered by a 440cc, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 27.36PS and 36Nm. The bike’s special design and colour scheme make it a standout compared to the stock version.
Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer - India BU, Hero MotoCorp, said, "This one-of-its-kind partnership is going to be a game changer in the segment. The collaboration of two iconic brands has resulted in an unparalleled product for customers. The Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels, based on the mid-variant of our flagship Mavrick 440 motorcycle, embodies the product values of authenticity, independence, boldness, and courage which perfectly align with those of Thums Up. The new colour and graphics, inspired by Thums Up, make this motorcycle stand out and are sure to captivate the youth across the nation."
