Hero MotoCorp’s Vida V1 Electric Scooter Deliveries Commence

Indian customers may now start receiving their brand-new Hero Vida V1 electric scooters. It is currently valued at around Rs 1.45 lakh and competes with the likes of the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, and others.

Hero MotoCorp has made a move into the field of electric mobility with the introduction of e-scooters under the banner of Vida, their new EV subsidiary. Launched in October of last year, the brand-new Hero Vida V1 Plus and Hero Vida V1 Pro electric scooters have a starting price of Rs. 1.45 lakh. Customer deliveries for the same have now started across the nation.

For a nominal fee of Rs 2,499, reservations for the Hero Vida V1 bookings have now begun. However, it is only available in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur. While these e-scooter deliveries have already started in Bengaluru, they will start in other cities gradually. More than 200 stores around the nation are expected to carry the Vida brand, according to the company.

These two Hero electric scooters each have a peak top speed of 80 kmph. Speaking about riding range, it is said that the Vida V1 Plus will have a 143 km range, while the V1 Pro would, under ideal conditions, have a 165 km range. Furthermore, according to the manufacturer, 1.2 miles per minute of quick charging is possible for these electric scooters.

Hero Vida V1 Plus retails for Rs. 1.45 lakh, while Vida V1 Pro costs Rs. 1.59 lakh; both prices are ex-showroom. However, due to state government subsidies, the prices may differ. Direct competitors of the Hero Vida V1 include the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, etc.
