Over the next several months, Hero MotoCorp plans to launch four new bikes in the Indian market. At the EICMA 2024 last month in Italy, the domestic bike manufacturer debuted four new models. The Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, Karizma XMR 250, and the Mavrick 440 facelift.
As previously stated, all of these motorcycles are anticipated to make their Indian public debuts. This will take place during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, which begins in New Delhi on January 17. Let's examine each of the four Hero motorcycles that will be available in India in 2025 in depth.
At the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the upgraded Mavrick 440. In January 2025, it is anticipated to debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Compared to the present model, the 2025 Mavrick 440 has a number of visual improvements. It has new paint options and USD front suspension in a golden tint, both of which are absent from the current model.
Furthermore, a new TFT console that was taken from the Harley-Davidson X440 replaces the LCD instrument cluster of the current model. The entire kerb weight of the new bike has decreased by 2 kg, and it now weighs 189 kg. In terms of mechanics, the 2025 Hero Mavrick 440 will still be propelled by the same 440cc air-cooled petrol engine and 6-speed gearbox.
To say that Hero's Xpulse 210 is the most anticipated motorcycle in India would appear to be an understatement. It is anticipated to take the place of the Xpulse 200. It has a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that can produce up to 24.6 bhp and 20.7 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Hero Xpulse 210 has tubed tyres and spoke wheels that are 21 inches in front and 18 inches in back.
Among the Xpulse 210's noteworthy features are dual-channel ABS, a 4.2-inch TFT instrument panel, all-LED lighting, and smartphone Bluetooth connectivity. A mono-shock unit at the back and telescopic forks at the front will handle the suspension tasks. In the first quarter of 2025, it will be available for purchase in India.
The brand-new naked streetfighter “Hero Xtreme 250R” will be Hero's first motorbike in the 250cc class. Firstly, it is displayed at EICMA 2024. At the core of the bike is a brand-new 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that can produce up to 30 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The motorbike can go from 0 to 60 kmph in only 3.25 seconds due to its 6-speed gearbox and powerful engine.
The Hero Xtreme 250R is built on a steel trellis frame and will include a number of features. Just like the dual-tone colour options, switchable ABS, disc brakes on both wheels and LED headlamps with DRL. In the Indian market, the KTM 250 Duke and the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 will compete against the Xtreme 250R.
Finally, last month at the EICMA 2024, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 made its premiere on a worldwide scale. When it debuts in India in the second half of 2025, the fully-faired bike will be a direct competitor of the Suzuki Gixxer 250. Along with a 6-speed transmission, it will use the same engine as the Xtreme 250R, which has the same power and torque numbers.
The height-adjustable clip-on handlebar unit is the Karizma XMR 250's main attraction. Other noteworthy features include the integrated starting switch, dual-channel ABS, full-LED lighting, and TFT instrument dashboard.
